The VACO HAND and VACOPED are medical orthoses from OPED that use patented vacuum technology to create a custom, cast-stable fit for the hand and foot, respectively. Instead of a traditional plaster cast, these devices use a cushion filled with thousands of beads that conform perfectly to the patient’s anatomy.
